Laurie works with our team on all aspects of estate planning and administration, including the preparation of estate planning documents, preparation of gift and estate tax returns and analysis of estate planning and charitable giving techniques.
Prior to joining Currier Law Offices, Laurie was a Senior Attorney at Goodwin Procter LLP, where she was a member of the firm’s Trusts & Estates Planning Practice and Tax-Exempt Organizations Practice. While at Goodwin, Laurie specialized in complex estate planning matters, estate administration, charitable planning strategies and the formation and operation of private foundations and other tax-exempt organizations.
Laurie earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Brown University in 1996 with a major in American History and her law degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1999. While in law school, Laurie was a member of the Board of Student Advisors and an intern in the family law unit at the law school’s Legal Services Center.
Laurie is a member of the Boston Bar Association’s Trust and Estates section. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
